Nairobi - Taita hill Wildlife Sanctuary

For maximum immersion in nature, we will arrange a pickup from your hotel, residence, or even the airport (if the timing aligns) at 6 am. Departing from Nairobi, we will journey southward, traversing picturesque countryside where you can observe the unfolding tapestry of daily life along the roadside.
Upon arrival, a delectable lunch will be served, allowing you time to familiarize yourself with the luxurious surroundings of your safari lodge. Indulge in spa treatments, enjoy the panoramic views from the viewing decks, and unwind in the comfort of your well-appointed accommodation, complete with cozy beds and invigorating hot showers after your cross-country journey.
In the afternoon, seize the opportunity to embark on your first thrilling game drive through the captivating landscapes of Taita Hills. Prepare to encounter an array of remarkable animals, including cheetahs, lions, giraffes, elephants, wildebeests, and many others who call this sanctuary their home. Tiata Hills Safari Resort
Located at the main entrance to the Sanctuary, Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa is an inviting stone building of 60 spacious rooms and two suites, all with their own private viewing balcony. It has a museum that displays some of the World War 1 memorabilia as part of the rich history of Taita Taveta County.
Taita Hills Safari Resort & Spa is located at the main entrance to the Taita Hills Sanctuary in South Eastern Kenya, 400 km from Nairobi and 200 km from Mombasa. An hour flight from Nairobi or 30 min from Mombasa by private charter lands at the hotel’s own airstrip. The sanctuary is a 3-hour drive from Mombasa and a 6-hour drive from Nairobi on tarmac roads.

You have the option to enjoy an additional afternoon game drive, or alternatively, you can choose to stay at Sarova Salt Lick and witness the magnificent wildlife gathering at the watering hole. Whichever option you prefer, dinner will be served at the lodge, providing you with stunning views over the plains of Taita Hills.

Witness this enchanting transition during your exhilarating early morning game drive.
After an exhilarating wildlife encounter, return to Sarova Salt Lick for a satisfying breakfast. The lodge check-out time is 10 am, allowing you ample time to relax and prepare for your departure at your own pace.
On the journey back to Nairobi, you have the option to request a stop at the town of Mtito for lunch, which incurs an additional cost depending on your choice of dining location and preferences. Anticipate arriving in Nairobi in the early evening, around 6 pm, where you can select a drop-off at your hotel, residence, or the airport, based on your travel arrangements.
Please note that no accommodation is provided on the last day of your luxury safari. The package includes breakfast, while lunch and dinner are not included. Drinking water will be provided, and additional beverages can be purchased separately.
