Tour Plan
Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park
(169 km – 2-2.5 hours)
We will arrange for an early pick-up at your desired location in Nairobi to ensure you make the most of your safari experience. Starting at 8 am, we aim to maximize your time in the parks, allowing you to immerse yourself in nature.
As you traverse the breathtaking Great African Rift Valley, the magnificent Mount Longonot will provide a dramatic backdrop. Along the way, you'll catch a glimpse of Lake Naivasha, which will be one of your destinations later in the itinerary. Upon reaching your chosen accommodation, a delicious lunch will be served to satisfy your appetite.
In the afternoon, prepare for an exhilarating game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park, where you can fully indulge in bird spotting and wildlife photography. Brace yourself for a sight unlike any other: a lake adorned in shades of pink. This unique phenomenon is a result of the multitude of flamingos that call this lake their home, showcasing their stunning plumage.
Your game drive will extend into the early evening, and afterward, you will return to your camp or lodge for a satisfying evening meal. The first day of your African safari includes:

Embarking on a scenic drive through the picturesque valleys of Kenya, you'll soon arrive at Lake Naivasha. Your chosen accommodation will welcome you just in time for a delicious lunch. The afternoon grants you the freedom to unwind at your leisure, and if you desire an additional adventure, you have the option to embark on a boat ride to Crescent Island. This unique sanctuary is inhabited by zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and various other captivating creatures synonymous with an African safari experience.
As evening sets in, you are invited to join a tranquil walk around the lake, allowing you to encounter the majestic animals that call this area home and observe the vibrant birdlife. After your refreshing walk, a delectable dinner will be served at your camp or lodge. The second day of your Kenyan safari comprises:

Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp is located on the shores of Lake Naivasha at the heart of the Kenyan Rift Valley, only 90 minutes drive from Nairobi.
The camp is constructed using canvas and has a capacity of20 luxury tents. The tents are well furnished, have wooden floors and adequate space generously created to allow free movement inside and outside at the guests’ comfort.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge
Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge is set in one hundred and fifty acres of grassland studded with Acacia bushes and trees, the resort is not only home to our resident giraffe, waterbuck and both Vervet and Colobus monkeys, but it is also a night stop for the hippos when they leave the lake every night to come and trim the grass on our expansive lawns.
With Sopa’s traditional and conscientious care for the environment, we carefully positioned all the buildings on our property so we did not have to fell any of the many trees there. As a result of this, we had to come up with a radically innovative and artistic design for the main public area building which now snakes its way between the trees with long and graceful curves.

Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

Prepare for an exciting morning as you venture into Hell's Gate, a captivating gem among Kenya's parks. Although smaller in size, it is equally rewarding to explore. Enjoy a hearty breakfast served at your lodge or camp before setting off to the park for an immersive experience on foot.
Whether you prefer a leisurely walk, an exhilarating bicycle ride, or a drive in your safari vehicle, the morning will be filled with the graceful presence of gazelles, antelopes, zebras, and giraffes. A notable highlight of the tour is passing through the iconic gates, offering a perfect opportunity for a memorable photo stop.
After your exploration of Hell's Gate National Park, the journey back to Nairobi commences. You'll have the option to travel at a leisurely pace, allowing you to appreciate the scenic splendor of the Great African Rift Valley and capture breathtaking photos of the awe-inspiring landscape.
A stop along the return trip will provide a chance to enjoy a delicious lunch. Your arrival in the capital is expected in the early afternoon, and based on your onward travel plans, you can request a drop-off at your hotel, residence, or the airport.
Please note that no accommodation is provided on this final day of the safari. The package includes breakfast and lunch, with dinner not included. Drinking water will be provided, while other beverages can be purchased separately.
