Arriving in time for lunch, a brief respite will be followed by engaging game drives within the park. Meru National Park stands as a testament to untamed beauty. Spanning the equator and crisscrossed by 13 rivers and a multitude of mountain-fed streams, it boasts an exquisite expanse of Kenyan wilderness. Its diverse landscape ranges from woodlands at an altitude of 3,400 feet (1,036 meters) on the slopes of the Nyambeni Mountain Range, northeast of Mount Kenya, to expansive plains adorned with winding riverbanks graced by the presence of doum palms. As the day draws to a close, we return for a delectable dinner and a peaceful overnight stay at your chosen camp.

Meru's significance as the backdrop for "Born Free" is highlighted, along with chances to spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, and unique antelopes like Lesser Kudu. Dik Dik, Africa's smallest antelope, adds to the sightings. Lion prides and sizable buffalo herds roam the landscape, while rivers host hippo and crocodile. Meru National Park – Nairobi
